Developing people, practices, and design maturity

I believe helping other designers succeed often creates more impact than any individual project.

Organizations scale when knowledge, quality, and decision-making become repeatable.

One of the most valuable contributions a leader can make is creating systems that capture knowledge, improve consistency, reduce friction, and help others succeed.

Career
Highlights

I lead design strategy across a 10-brand eCommerce + Supply Chain ecosystem, helping teams navigate complexity, align around priorities, and create solutions that balance customer needs, business goals, and operational realities.

My work extends beyond individual experiences to developing people, strengthening practices, introducing AI-enabled workflows, and building the systems that help organizations deliver better outcomes at scale.

Current role

Williams Sonoma, Inc.

retail • Lead User Experience Designer

Led product design and strategy for a proprietary drag-and-drop Email Builder, introducing scalable design systems and working closely with CEO and engineering to ensure customer needs and UX principles were reflected in every stage of implementation.

SAAS • Lead User Experience Designer

Identified a longstanding opportunity hidden within a legacy insurance claims experience, where customer and operational friction had become accepted as part of the process. Through field research, journey mapping, and mental-model analysis, I uncovered opportunities that helped align leadership around a customer-centered strategy, improving satisfaction, reducing negative public reviews, and generating measurable operational savings.

UX Designer

I  championed the value of UX within an organization that had no formal design practice by introducing design principles, discovery methods, and customer-centered processes that improved both associate efficiency and product outcomes.

This work ultimately led to the creation of the company's first dedicated UX Designer role and established practices that continued long after my tenure—one of the most meaningful legacies of my career.

About me

Curiosity has been the common thread throughout my life. Whether through art, technology, travel, or design, I'm drawn to understanding how things work and what connects them. It's a perspective that continues to shape how I lead, solve problems, and help others grow.

My Journey

My career has taken me through research, front-end development, enterprise systems, commerce, and design leadership. Each experience added a new perspective, shaping a practice that values curiosity, adaptability, and the ability to see connections others might miss. Together, these capabilities allow me to help teams navigate complexity and move forward with confidence.
